I bought 2 different bike mirrors that are mounted on the end of the handlebars and are adjustable in length. I chose the long stem mount for adjustability and reach. The bar seemed weak when installed. I see 2 problems with this mirror: 1. It's so convex that a car 20 feet behind the mirror will measure about 1/8 inch on the mirror. 2. Anything less than perfectly smooth roads will add vibration to the mirror and make it difficult to see cars behind you unless the headlights are on. This mirror can be suitable when used in cities with low speed limits and slippery roads. I changed the side mirrors as I use them on country roads. I added a video comparing 2 mirrors.
