The short cable, lack of power and the location of the motor prevent me from loving it. Based on the reviews I figured this fan would move a lot of air. I envisioned a mini fan for the whole home or business. It just doesn't move much air. So if you want to move air around the room to cool it down, this fan isn't for you. The motor gets pretty hot and I suspect the fan is sucking in that hot air as it blows out. Not a big deal if your internal temperature is below 80 degrees Fahrenheit, but those extra degrees are important at 95. I didn't think the cord length would make a huge difference, but to be honest I wish I had an extra foot every time I move it. It is durable and well made. My definition of High Velosity and Powerful is a little different.
