I'm in my 60's and as I age I have a gradual loss of hair. My stylist recommended Alpecin as a shampoo to slow down hair fall and stimulate hair regeneration. My conclusion after 2 1/2 years of use: GREAT SHAMPOO (at least for my thinning hair) - Its formula as advertised makes my hair beautiful - A small amount (about 1/3 the shampoo volume of other shampoos) , 2 minutes leaving it on my scalp while I shower does the trick - I no longer need conditioner - I also use Alpecin post-shampoo liquid after showering (once stopped, noticed less body so resumed. Clear difference with this one) LOW IMPACT ON HAIR LOSS. My dermatologist agrees with the benefits of caffeine but said there is no clinical evidence to support topical use to regrow hair or slow hair loss. reduced, although I tend to attribute this to the effect of making my hair more voluminous (congratulations to the reviewers who witnessed hair regeneration).
