Review on Natural Uniseal Pipe Tank Seal by Douglas Holla

This is a way to seal pvc pipes to the tank. I also use them to seal the exit of pipes from the house - like a liner. In this retrofit case I cut the gasket, glued it to the pipe and used black silicone caulk for the seam. See picture for an example. Please note that using upgrades is not waterproof. I'm an engineer and I'm concerned about things like plasticization between the PVC pipe and anything it comes in contact with. They are designed for PVC with EPDM. The quality of the seals is excellent. 1 1/2" Uniseal fits 1 1/2" PVC pipe - pipe O.D. 1.9". Wet the gasket before attempting to fit the pipe. It's tight, but that's all Idea.
