Can't push pipe

Tried to put this on an ABS water tank, the whole process was rubbish. It's almost impossible to get a pipe in unless it's attached to something, but once you put it on the tank you can't get it in. I managed to squeeze all of the sealant into the tank, but the pipe still wouldn't go through. You have to turn to tighten it, but the seal also turns. Spent 3 hours trying everything I need, now in the trash. waste of money.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Works for connecting PVC to plastic tub

Used to assemble a sound trap. The internal connections worked fine with a friction fit, although I used a deburring tool to open the holes just enough to let the pipe through without damaging the thinner plastic bag. The connection that led to the sewer was on a thicker tank that was a bit difficult to push through. Not sure if it's necessary but I added some silicone inside and out to make sure there is no water in the basement.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Ok

Difficult to install on hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

They are very difficult to install and anyone who says you can put a pipe in and then easily adjust the pipe as needed is lying to you! I use them in a hydraulic setup with 5 gallon round buckets and it was so difficult to adjust that I gave up. I had a leak but after removing the pipe which wasn't easy and reinstalling it I was able to hook up 5 buckets without leaking. Just a lot of swear words and you have to drink after fighting them!

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

The best way to seal pvc pipes and convenient for home

This is a way to seal pvc pipes to the tank. I also use them to seal the exit of pipes from the house - like a liner. In this retrofit case I cut the gasket, glued it to the pipe and used black silicone caulk for the seam. See picture for an example. Please note that using upgrades is not waterproof. I'm an engineer and I'm concerned about things like plasticization between the PVC pipe and anything it comes in contact with. They are designed for PVC with EPDM. The quality of the seals is…

Pros
  • trial period for one year
Cons
  • ill thought out
