A+ for Effort, C+ for Score

This is a sunscreen with pros and cons that vary wildly based on your individual needs making it difficult to rate but I'll try. PRO: This sunscreen contains only mineral or physical UV blockers (including Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide), making it a great choice for those who are sensitive to or can't tolerate chemical blockers. CONS: This sunscreen also contains silicones and essential oils that can irritate sensitive skin. CONS: Some white cast in appearance is inevitable when using mineral based UV blockers. PROS: The white fades pretty well on application and leaves me with a nice matte finish - smooth and beautiful enough that I don't normally wear foundation. CONS: Reapplying this sunscreen without first removing the original application changes the feel from "soft, airy finish" to "cementy". PROS: Physical UV blockers are effective and this sunscreen did a good job of blocking them for me; I didn't get burned. CON: Within two hours. Then I applied again and got cement. PRO: Easily removed with cleaning emulsifying oil. CONS: I won't be carrying around a cleansing emulsifying oil cleanser to peel off the old layer and reapply every two hours, as dermatologists (and oncologists) recommend. PROS: Definitely not greasy as there are too many sunscreens for the face. are. CONS: Definitely a bit drying, especially when reapplying. Emphasizes wrinkles a little, although I've had significantly worse experiences with other sunscreens. GENERAL INFO: This is my daily sunscreen for the moment for occasional sun exposure. It does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well enough if you don't mind the difficulty of reapplying it. As the owner of oily skin, I really like that it is non-greasy and goes well under make-up. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with combined dry skin; Even I need to moisturize my skin well before applying otherwise my face will be tight and hard at the end of the day. But for what it is - just a physical UV blocker with a cosmetic twist - it's not bad.
