I bought this because the reviews said it was good for human hair. I have hair down the middle of my back and it collects all over our carpet. I have a wide tooth comb that I use to pick it up before vacuuming and it works great. But I have to bend down to use it. I thought this would work similarly. It is not. Pulling the broom will snag hair, and if you try really hard you may end up with hair on the floor. But it doesn't pick it up like a comb and isn't as effective. So, I think I'm still looking for a comb with wide teeth and a long handle. Also, part of the handle isn't screwed in, so it's not very well finished.
