This is a cabin air filter that should have been factory fitted. It fits well. I'm very disappointed in Cadillac for selling a hundred thousand dollar car without this air filter. You need to remove the plastic panel covering the hole where the filter is installed. It has already been counted. Use a razor blade and follow the marked lines until you cut through the coating. Remove cover. Use 120 grit sandpaper to remove rough edges and rough spots. Use a shop vacuum to clean the compartment with the air filter. Clean the cooling fins in this compartment with a soft brush. Be careful not to damage the cooling fins. Install the filter in the compartment in the correct airflow direction. Install the cover that holds the filter in place. Except for the cleanup, you're done. The hardest part is removing the plastic blocking the filter opening. Use a new razor blade. If you feel it isn't cutting, replace the blade. It took me about 45 minutes to infuse it but it was worth it.
