I bought 2 of these for my RAID. They're literally loud, like a noisy old tuna hard drive. Next, SLOOOOOOW. For example, I'm pretty sure it's SATA and not SATA 3. It took me 40 hours to transfer 238 gigabytes of data. Then when it was done and I thought "It's finally over" one of the disks deteriorated and died. So now 10 hours have passed while RAID 1 carries out its raid. In the meantime, over 238 gigabytes of data have been collected in my entire work week. I want to replace her, and I could, but that also means HOURS of work and at a loss, and I'm really, really miserable. The most expensive purchase mistake on my part.
