Worked great. until it gets hot.

I was initially impressed with this item. From the start he firmly grabbed and held my sold radar detector. But after six weeks, when it first got warmer, I noticed that the neck that connects the mount to the suction cup itself was starting to work with play. Things got worse and about a week later my detector fell off my windshield as I was driving down the freeway. The suction cup itself held up great - it was still in place and took a lot of effort to remove. However, the rest of the product was not up to par.

Pros

Easy installation with knurled adjustment knob to lock radar in position. Excellent performance in extreme heat and cold (please visit the following ASIN B008MHBZGG for information on charging radar detectors)
