For those of you who just want to mount this shelf on a drywall floor, you need to understand that the mounting brackets are not stable when supporting a glass shelf. Their design is too narrow to withstand the twisting force of the glass and the objects placed on it. This is partly due to the drywall fasteners included in the kit. They are completely unsuitable for cantilever weights. I've tried heavier gauge drywall anchors, but the holes in the mounting brackets only fit small diameter screws. The shelf was still shaking. The only way to securely install this shelf is to attach it to a stud on each side. Most homes do not have studs 6 inches from the corner. An unsolvable problem. The cost of these floating glass shelves is much less than similar online offerings. I should have realized that the vendors selling these shelves are trying to get rid of a poorly designed product.
