Review on ✋ Contender Fight Sports Ultra-Comfort Training Gloves by Sean Burnett

Not for serious boxing training

Update: I found this in the back of a closet while cleaning and found the gloves were very poor quality. That's why I give 1 star. In fact, I wouldn't recommend them for group fitness anymore. They are poorly shaped and appear like a giant pillow. Spend an extra $25 and buy a decent pair of gloves. After months of training, I realized the importance of investing in a decent pair of gloves. Especially when you start. _____________________________ I bought these because I'm starting out in the sport and need gloves to get started. Then my trainer told me to buy better gloves and I bought ring gloves. That's when I realized that everything was fine with these gloves. Ringside gloves were much more comfortable and compact. These challenger gloves feel and feel like pillows. It's good if you're buying in bulk or maybe for general cardio or fitness. But if you're training for boxing, I suggest spending a little more to get gloves that last longer and are more comfortable. EDIT I also weighed these gloves to make sure they actually weigh 16 ounces and they don't. They were about. 13 or so ounces. I weighed another pair of 16 ounce gloves and they were actually 16. I don't know why they weighed 13.2 ounces.
