UPDATE: Every time I wear one of these rings my nose gets TERRIBLE in big painful sores that look like pimples. We removed EVERYTHING from my system (jewelry, even my pure gold and silver jewelry - based on a doctor's recommendation and waited 3 weeks before putting anything into my system). The nose opened terribly. I removed the nose ring, waited for the skin around the nose to clear and put in the second ring from the set, the same with ALL three nose rings. NEVER IS Sterling Silver or Surgical Steel: They are cheaply made and if you have multiple allergies, do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY! These are sliding and closed captive rings, not hinged rings. which means they will eventually break by tearing and closing. They are very beautiful BUT it is too much design for a very small nose ring. The image in the ad is misleading.
