These sweaters are adorable. I ordered a medium pair in brown and blue. My chihuahuas weigh 9 and 10 pounds respectively. One is deer chi (long and slender legs) and the other is applehead (rounder body). I'm glad I didn't order the small ones. You would be too small. Wednesday is just right. They are soft and really pretty. I'll see how they wash. When they shrink in cold water (as stated) I'll go back to get more and upgrade instead. UPDATE: I washed in cold water in a laundry bag in the washing machine, then hung to dry. There is no noticeable shrinkage, and yet they are great for dogs.
