I'm new to Shibari myself and have found it very useful! The advantages of cotton are that they are very comfortable on the skin, especially if you create some friction because they don't sting, but the disadvantages are that they dissolve more easily, so after a few uses they look worn out, even if they do are equally stubborn. I find them great for practice and personal use. The color is super bright.
