Will hardly connect to charge

This is a nice product, but the connection to the plug in to charge, hardly works at all.
Have to jiggle it around to get it to connect and then, although still, will just disconnect on it's own. When I remove the case, my phone charges just fine.Does anyone know how to improve this? I'd like to keep this case-but the charging issue is a challenge and may return.

Pros

The only thing I dislike was the drab grey color.
