So yesterday I worked on my wife's car and changed the oil and oil filter. In the middle of work I take out the oil filter housing and take out the old filter, take out the o-ring and put in this K&N filter. Look, the filter is too long. There's a rear spring that lowers the filter when pressed, but that's still not enough. The filter, o-ring and plastic part were fine, but they will NOT fit the 2008 IS 250. If you use the Revain autotest and the part fits, you will get a green checkmark. But it was WRONG. Huge headache for me, I had to put the old one back in, put the new oil in, go to the parts store and buy it, jack the car up and repeat the whole process! So disappointed!
