Flexible extension is worth it, imo. My car doesn't have good spots for a phone holder that I can still reach because they have rounded every surface so nothing can be attached properly. I also hate vent holders. This charger is the answer! Find a place to attach the base, then bend the flexible arm to where you want it! It charges and holds my iPhone in a Magsafe case, but I wish the magnet was a little stronger. It hangs when riding over bumps, but I knocked it off with a slightly harder knee. If you're not riding off-road, you should be fine. Also note that the charging cable is NOT detachable. Mine is well hidden but if you don't want to see the cord this might be a problem for you. Overall I am very satisfied due to the flexibility of the accommodation and would recommend it.
