Every summer I bag and store dehydrated vegetables for use throughout the winter. I've always been bothered by moldy figs, plums, zucchini, tomatoes, etc. It's an extra layer of security that I don't lose a glass or twenty veggies. The manufacturer claims it's "rechargeable," and some other reviews say the same. The downside is how do I know if the balls are saturated in the package? pearls! The instructions state that the package, presumably just beads, weighs 2 grams. When I received them I weighed 15 packs and the beads plus pack ranged from 2.6g to 2.7g. everyone. It seems to me that the only way to know if they are full is to weigh each one individually. I hope that was helpful.
