It's not like this. Irresponsible design. The search continues...

I think I was drawn to the marketing that you can find all over the internet. That's probably why you're here reading this. I had no issues with quality control and decent support from the manufacturer. However, the basic construction is completely wrong. Sure, there's plenty of lumbar support, but no chest support. Compare the design to something like the Herman Miller Mirra. To be honest I haven't tried this chair but I read his design paper. That made me understand the fatal flaw of this chair. See how this chair has a support that follows the spine from bottom to top. At least it gives you support in your upper thoracic spine. This chair offers nothing at all to your upper back. If you have a forward curve, there is no structural element to curve it backwards on. So if you want to correct your back/upper cross/hunchback posture, this chair won't help at all. If anything, it supports the lumbar spine too much and makes the problem worse. In addition, the curvature of the back is fixed and actually pushes your shoulders forward relative to the spine. Speak to anyone who understands the spine and you'll quickly realize that this is the opposite of what is natural. This serves to develop shoulder-back posture. This chair does just the opposite. IMHO upper chest issues are a modern day epidemic as we tend to push our upper back and neck forward to use our phones. This chair doesn't help and actually makes it worse. Settings are comfortable, armrests are good. That's all positive I can say about him. But this chair is so poorly constructed that it really shouldn't be on the market. It's all about the lower back and has nothing to do with the rest of the spine. What is is worse than nothing. The back of a chair that arches your shoulders forward. There is no solution to this problem as there is no structural element that I can attach a glass or foam roller to to push the top of the spine forward. In fact, the chair would be better without anything above the waist. Support. Because anything higher will actually make you sit in a forward bend. Worst of all, it affects the correct position of the back and shoulders. You can't sit properly in this chair. Very irresponsible design. Bringing it into the world is just wrong. From a public health perspective, this chair should carry a warning. This chair was designed for beauty and hype, but it will ruin your spine. Please use if you would like the hunchbacked pose. I learned some valuable lessons for $1,000.1. Never fall for marketing tricks. Be very careful if your search leads you to a product that claims to be the solution.2. Don't think that the high cost means the design is suitable for correct posture. The construction is pretty good, but the design is hopeless.3. Don't buy chairs without trying them out for at least a week. It is difficult and does not even solve the problem. It took me over a year to realize the problem was in the chair. You want to believe that your $1,000 chair is built right, and your mind will do its best not to blame it, but sometimes truth takes time to take root. Make a short list of chairs you want to try, but immediately eliminate those that don't support the full length of your spine.
