Review on πŸ–₯️ MacBook Surface with DisplayPort Thunderbolt Compatibility by Adam Ross

Feels nice, doesn't work very well

I really like the braided cord. Feels good. The fork bodies also have good build quality and excellent label printing quality. Unfortunately, the functionality does not quite match the optics. The standard Displayport end fits easily into the socket. However, the mini-DisplayPort side doesn't feel very secure in the port. It wobbles a bit and looks like it will pop out. That alone isn't that important to me since the computer and screen are stationary on the table, but this discontinuity brings video noise to the monitor in the form of shiny confetti. Wiggling the end of the display's minijack connector solves the problem, but as a display cable it has one job -- sending a clear video signal from my computer to the display -- and it can't do that. Will have to send this one back.
