This 3D clock kit was well packaged. They include a small "tool" to cut out the pieces, but I've found that a knitting needle works better for some smaller cuts. Assembly instructions in pictures, in the order of assembly. I strongly recommend that you read all instructions before beginning to understand the build process. Because this kit is a thicker sheet of foam than many wooden kits, the parts are slightly stronger, but care must still be taken when inserting the slots not to bend any parts. This particular kit includes pieces with adhesive backing that attach to the front and back to create a layered 3D effect. I found that removing these pieces from the sheet required extra patience, and using tweezers to attach them to the "body" of the watch helped with accurate placement. The composite dial with movement and pendulum is fitted last and can be removed to change the battery or update the time. I found that a small adjustment is needed to prevent the pendulum from hitting the inside of the watch case. Overall it was a pleasure building this 3D clock and the finished product looks great. Even my husband was impressed.
