Very beautiful. Looks great. Some issues but that might just be my luck.

THREE AND ยพ STARS. So I like the look a lot. I have a 1959 house that we are renovating room by room and it will be some time before I get the master bath of my dreams. So I'm trying to make the best of an outdated and sometimes a bit run down situation. The item itself is very nice, looks sturdy and looks like a quality stand that is a lot heavier than it is. I hope this lasts long. Nice variety of shelves. I can use each one for different purposes and the extra features like the towel rail and razor stand are pretty nice. My Schick Hydro razor doesn't really fit vertically in the holder, but it fits well horizontally, which is better because it doesn't get in the way of getting things from the shelf below. The towel rail is convenient for hanging scrub towels, washcloths or washcloths to dry. The assembly was fiddly but good. The bar cart I replaced was a piece of crap, similarly constructed but didn't have the little hex head screws to hold the shelves in place. Instead, it had rubber baskets that used the weight of the shelves and friction to keep them from sliding down. The problem was that if you accidentally hit one of them and pushed it up a little, it would bounce down a few inches, knocking everything over. This product solved that problem by fixing each shelf with a hex screw on the back once you placed it at the desired height. Installation was a little tricky as I was trying to fit it in as tightly as possible without bending and I had to pull it out a few times and adjust a few shelves because after putting all my stuff back in, I couldn't liked where they were are were. It was a bit of a hassle because I had to pull everything back out, loosen the hex screws, move the shelf, make sure they all lined up, tighten the screws, rearrange everything again (and mind you I was too lazy to get all the bathroom supplies back out so getting it out of the trash was a bit of a hassle) but I ended up doing it and it worked out the way I wanted it to. I did all this after the first thing I noticed out of the box, on the top shelf (towel rail) had a pretty noticeable chipped paintwork that really annoyed me. I don't have the time or energy to box crap, process returns, and accept crap for pickup/offset the hassle of a pickup schedule. I wasn't happy with the damage but decided to let it go - due to sanity, a full time job and being 18 months old. So a star deduction for a lack of quality, half a star deduction for having to look at this chip every day in the shower and getting a little annoyed every time.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
