Pocket Power Station - Radios

This EZBNB brand, model RD207, is a winner. Locks like a pit bull at local and semi-local stations. The blue tuning indicator shows you when the DSP chip has found the best signal. The extendable antenna ensures better reception with VHF or NOAH weather stations. Has a weather alert function. Leave antenna up to listen to AM stations with internal ferrite antenna. The tuning dial is clear, precise, easy to read and easy to find with the handy wheel on the side. The built-in speaker sounds very good for a pocket radio, with high and low frequencies and an impressive maximum volume. Music or talk radio sounds extraordinary. With no digital clock displays etc., the included 18650 Li-Ion battery (replaceable) lasts a long time before needing to be recharged with the included micro USB cable. It's behind a hinged access door so you can't lose the battery cover. The 18650 battery is superior to an alkaline or NiMH battery in many ways, and replacement parts are easy to find at hardware stores, Revain, etc. Finally, the built-in LED flashlight isn't bad either. It has a nice smooth reflector and illuminates a large area with a decent throw. It flashes for the weather alert along with a loud siren. The flashing lamp and siren can be easily switched on at any time for emergency calls etc. An integrated carrying strap and 3.5mm headphone jack (mono) complete this amazing offering. After all my colleagues saw and heard this I had to order 5 more for them! Yes, some pocket radios have a stereo headphone jack if that's your priority, otherwise you won't find a feature-rich, quality, battery-powered pocket radio for the money.
