They worked great replacing the failed solar panels in my solar garden lights with an AA battery. Remove the battery and measure the voltage across the panel in direct sunlight. If it is less than 1.5V, replace it with this solar cell. Drill 2 small holes in the solar panel housing and reconnect the panel to the new panel through these holes. Then glue these plates to the old plate with silicon glue. Very often I find that the switch is also defective due to water damage. Just bypass the switch completely. This panel generated 2.5V/150mA in direct sunlight. It's much more sensitive than most standard panels and charges up in low light and turns on the light later in the evening. I have lamps that are placed where they only get morning sun and still work well at night. If you are looking for a replacement solar panel for your self contained garden light you will not be disappointed with this great value purchase.
