Review on Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Induction Cookware Set: 10PC Kitchen Pots and Pans Bundle for Enhanced Cooking Experience by Kevin Brianne

Certainly didn't live up to the reviews

We bought this cookware set in November 2019 to use on our induction cooker. While it appears to be well made, it has a number of issues that make it a bad investment. I've been cooking in stainless steel cookware for over 30 years and have never had issues with sticking and burning like this set. I rarely go above 50% power except when boiling water and cook at 25% to 40% power most of the time and do all the actual preheat routines before adding oil etc. I've even tried a few "seasoning" methods that can be found on Youtube. and other sources. Another problem is that you have to use a hot surface to lift the lids and have to be extra careful when lifting the lid to avoid dripping onto the hob. These are lighter materials compared to other brands, although they are well balanced and lay flat on the hob. I haven't decided what I'm going to completely replace it with yet, but this set will end up at the thrift store.
