Nice little desk unit but not heavy

Well I have mixed reviews for this product. I think it will work for what I bought it for, which is to keep my gun mic or Go Pro as an extra camera on a handheld device. I definitely disagree with the headline that it's hard work just because the legs don't lock, and if you put something like a windshield dead man's mic gun on it, the legs start sliding down. I'm a little confused about this. It looks good and is a great concept, but it's poor design on the legs. I have something like this when you pull the legs out they rotate to lock into place. I'm a little suspicious of the $800 mic setup. I usually mount my mic on a boom, but sometimes I'm shooting documentaries and I need to pack very light, so I put the subject in front of the table and put the mic on the table outside the set. That should be good, because if it tips over, it's going to have to collide. However, if he were on the edge of the table, I wouldn't want him to fall. I've just tried again and the mic keeps falling off until I remove the windshield. I'll probably use this indoors so it will probably work. Broke on this one, I want you to like it because it looks great. Everything else seems well thought out.
