Although promotional photos show it can be pulled out, attempting to do so is a clumsy operation. The "baskets" are foldable, slide into place easily, and are strong enough to be used as dividers for different clothes in the closet, but be prepared to reach out and dig things out rather than slipping. I gave the storage capacity a low rating because you don't have access to what's in the back, so you're limited to one or two stacked items on the level you can get to.
