I have an average family of 5 and we work very hard to reduce the amount of waste we put into the environment. I thought compostable plastic bags would be a good start. We use these bags for trash cans or simple table scraps, small cleaning jobs, etc. They are strong enough as long as you don't put anything too sharp in them. The bottom of the packaging is well sealed, nothing leaks. Overall these are great bags and I definitely want to switch to them.
