These Echo holders look great and hold securely in place when using the original power adapter that came with your Echo. The hole size is specially made for the Echo power adapter. I used a different adapter on one of my Echos and was able to "fix" it with cardboard, making it strong and durable. I found and replaced my other Echo power adapter which fits perfectly. I am satisfied as it meets my expectations and meets my needs.
