Review on Aquatek CO2 Paintball Tank Adapter: Seamlessly Connects to CGA 320 Standard CO2 Regulator by Bryan Covington

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ugly, looks and feels cheap but does exactly what it's supposed to do

Bought to upgrade to using a paintball can in my keg cooler. A CO2 regulator is attached to it which is attached to a 20 ounce paintball tank. I fill the paintball tank myself using a paintball tank refill kit that attaches to a 20 lb CO2 tank that is upside down. Works great - a paintball tank takes up less fridge space, is more portable than a 20 lb tank, and if there is a leak I never lose more than 20 ounces of CO2. Still, I give one star for the cheap blue finish. . He looked disgusting new, and now he looks even worse because he's covered in scratches from a wrench. Also, it's a bit overpriced. Given the cost, you'd think they made it out of stainless steel. However, it works great. Didn't find any problems with it. Be sure to apply Teflon tape to all threads. Also remember to NEVER mount it directly on your tank! It should always be screwed into your regulator first! Screwing it into the regulator can be tricky as it's too small to get the proper leverage, but having two wrenches helps.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Reliability
