I bought this pack of Sylvania R20's in December 2012, thinking that the average price per bulb was around $3 (in case I need to replace the bulbs in my house's downlights). Well, it's May 2013 and I've run out of Sylvania 6-Pack. During that time I've had 3 built-in jars that have blown bulbs - in other words, I've used more than 1 Sylvania bulb for each of those jars. The most interesting thing is that Philips Ecovantage lamps, which I installed long before these Slyvanias, still work in other nearby banks. So, the lesson is learned - don't save money, do stupid things. Climbing up the ladder more than it takes to change a cheap lightbulb isn't really worth the added risk of slipping and falling (not to mention I'm always looking for ways to minimize the "sweet deal" list. ZERO stars from me) . .
