Ordered for another application. Will use it for a dash cam to hide the cables for a clean install. For about the same price as a cigarette lighter socket I buy two and each with 4ft of wire (regular 12V only have 10-12 inches) which is particularly useful and allows more flexibility in hiding/securing the socket/plug where I want. The product makes a solid and well-made impression. The wires are thick and heavy, much better than some DVR wiring kit wires. Very happy with this purchase.
