I am someone who has tried different security methods for many years. Basically I was trying to use traditional wireless IP cameras connected to a router with a hard drive in a docking station connected to the router. I've worked with this setup for many years trying to get it to work reliably. Yes I was able to view the cameras remotely but saving the images to disk was basically a failure. My old setup was complex and didn't work well. Hiseeu is EASY to install and deploy. No router settings need to be changed. Basically you just connect to the router and it works. If you find yourself in a double NAT situation (for those who know what that means), it's not a problem when using this system. Despite double NAT, this system can be viewed and managed remotely. No problem. I just knew there had to be a better way! I've looked at security systems, many of which cost over $1,000, but since this is a home security system and not a commercial system protecting a million dollar warehouse, I just couldn't justify the cost . Then I found this Hiseeu system which I bought on April 1st, 2021. She seemed to give me everything I wanted from my DIY restrained security system - plus MORE. I liked the same features as $1,000+ systems that were way over my budget. The $300 Hisseu system includes 4 high definition cameras (3MP) and an installed hard drive for at least 30 days of storage. Many surveillance systems do not include a hard drive for data storage, so there are additional costs involved when purchasing these systems. So far I have tested the system before permanently installing cameras. Every day that I test the system and discover its capabilities, I am more and more impressed and know that I made the right decision in purchasing this system. I looked at a competing system that was similar but didn't include a hard drive. The competing system had no additional cameras available for purchase on Revain. However, this system includes several cameras that can be easily purchased and later added to your system. When I bought it, I ordered an additional PTZ camera. I have some experience (I've bought at least 10 deployed PTZ cameras from different brands in the past). I have to say that Hiseeu PTZ camera is the best PTZ camera I have ever bought. It's a 3MP IR (infrared) camera for viewing in the dark, plus a spotlight (which I wasn't aware of at the time of purchase) if you want to see an area in FULL COLOR when light isn't available. You can activate floodlights remotely to light up an area in full color - love this camera! It takes about 5 minutes to connect it to Hiseeu system as your 5th camera. I won't lie, like any other electronic system, the Hisseu takes time to learn, but I was able to figure it all out in a short amount of time. Weekends, including an Android app and a desktop viewer app. There were a few things that frustrated me for a while, but I sorted them out. Camera order on the display: Most people want to arrange their camera images on the screen in a way that suits their needs. I couldn't figure out how to do it. As it turns out, it's pretty simple. Right-click on the display screen and select Manage Cameras. You will see a list of cameras. To the left of the camera list are UP and DOWN arrows. Highlight the camera you want to move and press the UP and DOWN arrows to move the camera position up or down in the order shown on the screen. That's all. The rearrangement also changes the camera position when viewed on a PC or Android apps. Android application, access to a group of 5-8 cameras: This frustrated me for a while. I could see cameras 1-4 but not the second group of 5-8 (this is not a problem with the PC app). I finally found the answer which is pretty damn simple. Just swipe the screen from right to left and the second group of cameras will appear. PC setup. When I first started using the app, I didn't really know how to get the cameras. I entered the IP address of each individual camera but it didn't work. Then I saw a drop down menu for "NVR". I select this option, enter Hisseu's cloud ID and SYSTEM IP address and number of cameras, and then ALL cameras appear like magic. It was easier than I thought. You enter the SYSTEM information and ALL cameras connected to the system can be viewed. Once you know the secret, it's very simple. Everyone should be able to. These are the ONLY frustrations I've had setting up this system. Everything else was completely intuitive, even with no links to instructions. I emailed Johnny@Hiseeu.com and he responded quickly. I can confirm this is a very good seller. In fact, I've had heated email disputes with vendors in the past about technical issues with their products. Rest assured, Johnny appears to be a salesman who cares that his customers are happy with their purchase. Anytime I emailed Johnny with a question or problem (including before purchasing a system) he was quick to respond with information or instructions. This seller also takes care of his customers AFTER the sale. I have to say that the image quality is simply stunning. In the Android app, I noticed that the image is not very high resolution. There is a button at the bottom of the screen that lets you select SD or HD. Far view is set to SD by default for each camera, but you can choose HD and the image resolution will improve before your eyes. With the remote display, I can easily read the time on the watch. It's one of those little things that you'll learn as you gain experience with the system. The NVR is integrated into the display. You can either view the display on a table (it has a stand to keep it upright at your chosen viewing angle) or you can wall mount it using the mounting holes. It's not VESA compatible for mounting on an articulating mount (which can be used for a TV), but Revain sells universal VESA mounts that are compatible with the display unit if articulating mounting is important to you. talked about the positive aspects of this product. As you know, nothing is PERFECT, so there must be flaws, right? The most annoying downside to this system is the mechanical attachment of the included cameras. It has 3 movement settings on the bracket. There is a ring on the wall that can be loosened/tightened for alignment and adjusted to the nearest setting for horizontal or vertical movement. From there, an Allen screw that allows you to move the camera either horizontally or vertically (depending on how you set the ring to allow it to move horizontally or vertically). Finally, there is an Allen screw at the bottom of the chamber that allows for additional level control. This may not be true for everyone, but if you need to make independent adjustments on both the horizontal and vertical axes, this isn't possible by default. You must choose ONE! For example, if you want to adjust the setting from floor to ceiling, you CANNOT adjust the horizontal axis toward or away from the wall. This was very annoying until I found a camera mount that restores any desired axis (horizontal or vertical). It costs about $7.00 but it's a life saver. You will also need to retrieve the appropriate bolts/nuts/washers from the assembly tool kit. Here's a mount that restores the missing motion axis: =UTF8&psc=1 Usually when I think I've found a negative, I realize it's a lack of experience with the system. It's usually something I haven't learned yet. At first I thought the built-in display/NVR was a downside, but now I realize it's a space-saving feature. I was ready to install a separate DVR shelf and then a separate display mount. As it turned out, the convenience of the built-in DVR and display saved me time, effort, and wall space. I see no reason why a person would NOT purchase this system. Technically it is easy to use. I like how it's managed. Basically, the system is quite easy to set up and manage through the menu system. I like both PC and Android apps. They give you exactly what you need for remote viewing. The 3 megapixel cameras deliver breathtaking details. If there is any reason not to choose this system to provide an excellent video surveillance system for your home or business, I honestly don't know what it would be. Even the inconvenience of not having simultaneous vertical and horizontal movement is easily solved with an inexpensive camera mount and a few nuts, bolts and washers. It's probably safe to say that I just LOVE this system. This is one of those purchases that I will always happily make whenever I decide to make one. If you were about to take the plunge into a security system, take my word for it, you can't go wrong with this. It gives you everything you need at an affordable price. Car!
