Bought this bar 2 years ago to replace a 420mm bar from Pure Cyles. At the time, these were the widest megaphone poles that you could buy in this price range. I installed them on my mountain bike and the available handlebar space was pretty tight with my brake levers, headlight and camera. When I saw this rod at 455mm and five bucks cheaper it wasn't a problem for me. That 1.37 inch difference will help a lot. It was also important that I get a straight beam so that my headlight shines straight ahead. Too many wands are at an angle, causing the light beam to be off-center. Final comment: I think the picture shows the bar upside down; ends should face down when installed; This makes the grip more natural and comfortable. I'll write about quality and durability later.
