I really like this docking station - it works great with my Dell laptop. I had a smaller USB-C hub that worked fine but caused issues from time to time. Sometimes the second display would turn off or I would lose my wired ethernet connection. The hub got very hot and I believe the overheating was the cause of my intermittent problems. It got to the point that every night when I left the office, I turned off the hub. This defeats the purpose. I was looking for a replacement and even considered breaking a Dell docking station and paying for it. When I saw this Tiergrade Dock I decided to give it a try. So far I'm very happy with it. It works really well and I haven't had a single connection problem since the switch. The large size and all-metal construction allow it to operate without a fan. I also like that it has its own power supply. It keeps my laptop 100% all day and can charge other devices. The wired network connection was reliable. It only has a secondary monitor connected to it, so I can't speak to multi-monitor support, but unlike my previous UCB-C hub, I had no trouble connecting a second 1920x1200 monitor. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this device to anyone looking for a USB-C docking station. Great bang for the buck.
