Review on Enforcer SK 3133 PPQ Heavy Duty Outdoor Proximty by Pop Henneghan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Built like a battleship, it looks like Park Avenue!

I ordered this unit to replace my original gate operator keypad. I have used several Secolarm Enforcer keypads for access and alarm services and have always been happy with their quality. Model 3133 is no exception. Please note that Potter/Secolarm do not manufacture this device but manufacture it to their specifications. As with all Secolarm products, a cheaper version can be purchased: they look and probably function the same, but the attention to detail differs. Secolarm does an excellent job of well writing the wiring and programming instructions and presenting the program itself in blocks, in other words "stages". Each "phase" or step is well prepared and explained, unlike less expensive access blocks. First, the unit is very well built: the Secolarm 3133 should weigh at least twice as much as my other outdoor console. The encrypted front panel is made of stainless steel and features a tamper switch for when you need a higher level of security. Unlike normal notepads, it is equipped with several levels of access codes: 1. Supercode, which can change some aspects of programming without using a master code, 2. User codes, 3. Duress codes to connect to a silent alarm, in case a person forced to open the site, and 5. temporary codes used to transmit to the gardener or contractor. Well thought through. There are many programming options with an easy to understand and read format. Installation and programming must be done without the use of "bad words". ;) You should be happy.
