We've just received these socks so I can't yet comment on how well they hold up, but my first impressions are very positive. My 9 year old son wears size 3 shoes and they fit him perfectly. He's not tall so some of the socks go down to his knees, which he doesn't want - that's the perfect "team" size. You will definitely become one of his favorites!
