This system works great in our home with an elderly parent. We attached the button to Mom's bedside table with velcro. She isn't independently mobile and always has someone near, so she doesn't wear the pendant, but we hung it on the wall on the other side of her bed. The receiver rings nice and loudly (and volume is adjustable). It plugs right into a wall outlet and is easy to move from place to place. I highly recommend this set! I do wish it was possible to get a second receiver for the same call button so that we could keep one on each floor, but that's not available right now. You could use two sets but would have to switch out the call button/pendant for each one. We just take the receiver upstairs at night and bring it back down in the morning.
