Installing this for a friend whose basement drain pump stopped and the basement flooded! Setup was easy and they added 2 water sensors that he can monitor and receive emergency alerts on both his iPad and my phone. I live about 1/4 mile from him and can control his house with my IPad and IPhone over my wifi and also with full signal. Just connect the scanned QR code and your golden one! It's also a big help to me because I've been taking care of his house all summer when he's gone if that pump stops before I come back to check the basement there will be a big mess. I recommend this product to everyone. Comes with batteries installed and water sensor batteries said to last around 5 years (2 AAA) which can be replaced. The hub simply plugs into your router and is very small.
