Review on 🌞 3M Anti-Glare Filter for 15.6" Widescreen Laptop: AG156W9B – Reduce Glare for Crystal Clear Display! by David Elam

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Terribly designed totally amateurish solution

This anti-reflective (AG) screen itself is not designed to be glued directly to the screen. It has a series of adhesive tabs that need to be placed around the edge of your screen and then hold a plain piece of AG plastic screen in place. The problem is that when you actually try to insert the AG plastic screen, the glue tabs come loose! They were clearly not designed for the thickness of plastic they are designed to hold. Even if you're working hard to finally get everything "before" in place (not easy, and I definitely wouldn't trust it to stay in place on a laptop screen in my bag), see the tabs look terrible - downright amateurish. Oh, and in just half an hour of working with them, they have already started picking up dirt like dust and hair. I usually trust 3M to make great products but this one is a total waste of money.

Pros
  • Helps reduce glare and specular reflections making it easier to use the screen in strong bright light conditions.
