This anti-reflective (AG) screen itself is not designed to be glued directly to the screen. It has a series of adhesive tabs that need to be placed around the edge of your screen and then hold a plain piece of AG plastic screen in place. The problem is that when you actually try to insert the AG plastic screen, the glue tabs come loose! They were clearly not designed for the thickness of plastic they are designed to hold. Yes, everything is fine. 3M is known as a great brand and when I needed an anti-glare screen for my laptop I went for it. It fits my Dell 3750 laptop quite well. To be honest it was the next size up as they don't make it on purpose. I wish Dell hadn't put a glossy glass screen on my laptop and it would look more like my matte finish desktop displays. I wanted this product to work on my Dell laptop but I don't recommend it for a number of reasons. My caveat: the filter works indoors in medium light but is useless outdoors. I was hoping the filter would help, but the screen was less visible from the outside, although glare was reduced. In fact, I couldn't read the screen at all.
