anode rods were delivered immediately after placing the order. They are perfect for the Suburban water heater in my Vengeance toy truck. Not all RV water heaters require an anode rod, but suburban water heaters do. Also note that anode bars are sacrificial metals needed to prevent corrosion of the water heater tank and must be replaced regularly to prevent premature water heater failure. This is not a rod supplier error, this is chemistry. As regular replacement is required, 2 rod packs are great value. The kit also includes enough pipe tape to install both bars if maintenance is required.
