This is an exact replacement for a ceiling fan switch that is at least 23 years old. Wonderful.

No idea what "stretch" or "transparency" means, it's an electrical switch. But it's an electrical switch that matches exactly, both physically and electrically, the switch on the underside of the ceiling fan I found installed when I bought my house 23 years ago. So I was thrilled that I found an exact replacement, meaning I didn't have to replace the entire ceiling fan.
