Beautiful and functional

We wanted a built in cutting board above our trash pullout cabinet, so we bought this 36x25x3 walnut end grain piece. This is functional and beautiful! We just use boos block oil on it every so often and that’s it. We got it for a steal of a price at $600 though (I almost wonder if they had a typo that day but then it showed up!).

Pros

In catering business & smoke ribs, brisket etc. Cutting board works perfectly for cutting meat.

Cons

Due to its sturdy and thick wood material, the John Boos BBIT24252 can be quite heavy. This could make it difficult to move around or transport
