This controller is worth the money! It works like a Nintendo joycon, but better than them in many ways. The only area where this isn't true is that these controllers don't have gyroscopes, so you can't use motion controls. While they feel nicer, they look better, are much more comfortable, and are VERY cheaper than joycons. They're bigger than the Nintendo joysticks, but for me, the increased comfort makes it totally worth it. They are compatible with the switch and can be installed on either end in portable mode, it works great in this configuration. It still fits in a docking station and even in a carrying case (a bit awkward but closes easily). The buttons are responsive and I was able to play my usual games with ease. The vibration function also worked well. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the product. If the motion controls aren't a problem for you, I recommend them as additional controllers instead of Nintendo's joycon.
