If like me you've had a reaction to baking soda deodorant, try this one! The smell is fresh, not musky or acidic, which I find to be a problem with many natural deodorants. He smells clean. I'm not a big sweater (I was crazy about clinical-strength antiperspirants when I was younger, and my armpits were never the same), but it keeps me dry while it's applied. My main goal with deodorants is to block odors, and it ranks in the top 5 natural deodorant and top 3 baking soda-free deodorant in terms of effectiveness. The texture is soft, almost like a body soufflé or a lotion bar. That's my only negative for the product (hence the four stars) because it means you burn the product fairly quickly. It's also quick to absorb directly into the skin, which is nice, but seems to make it go away faster too, due to its ability to block odors. Apply once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once in the evening before bed. If your skin can handle the power of baking soda, I recommend it as an ingredient when looking for natural deodorants. However, I think most people either have an immediate reaction or develop an allergic reaction to this ingredient over time. If yes, this is a good and mild option that is also effective. I will say that I don't think it should cost as much as the amount of product you receive and the amount you use in each application.
