These lights are amazing. So far I've installed 16 of these on our poorly lit 1964 brick ranch. Doesn't matter! Buy a 4 1/8" hole saw and your life will be easy. I love that you can install it anywhere and not have to worry about joists or trusses across the drywall. I really prefer the 3000k color: not yellow like the soft white 2700, not the nasty cold white 4000/5000k I've just ordered 12 more to install in our house at the eaves outside and keep a few for future projects.
