Review on Fox Racing Titan Sport Guards by Gregory Plump

Very pretty and reasonably priced - I use mostly outdoors

Very pretty and reasonably priced. I carry them around town on my bikes all the time, just throw them in the lockers when I get somewhere. It's probably a lot better than nothing if it's dropped, which is pretty bad if it's not armored. (Knees break very often and knee injuries can last a lifetime.) I also wear them when I ride in the mud. Unfortunately, knee pads protrude from your knees when you're sitting on the bike with your knees bent. (They are designed to sit on top of the pegs.) It doesn't seem to be much of a problem (looks a little odd) unless you're driving at freeway speeds AND your pegs are behind you, like on my Honda Nighthawk 750 , when Sometimes I put my feet on the passenger footboards; In this case, the knee pads can absorb the wind and collapse. I suppose a strap could have been installed but I haven't bothered and I use them quite a bit at the track with some success.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
