A welcome addition to my countertop

After investing in a new set of non-stick cookware, I bought this to replace the Pam spray that ruined my previous cookware. In case you don't know, the propellant used in Pam and similar products is almost impossible to remove from a nonstick surface. The build-up causes the dull appearance and makes the product sticky. So this product has both good and bad sides. --- Love it --- I no longer waste oil and can spray just the right amount every time. I appreciate being able to choose my spray oil myself and saving money. It creates a nice, even spray and a few sprays creates enough pressure to cover the entire pan. It works great with salads, of course with the best EVOO. It looks good. Light olive oil and a sprig of parsley and it adds to your tabletop. ---- not so good ---- The pump does not hold the pressure well. Pump it up 8-10 times and it will spray 2 pots. When you come back the next day you have to update it again. A rubber bushing would solve this problem. It gets a little slippery when covered in oil, but that's not too bad. I know it's oil and it's slippery. I just don't like that sticky feeling. Size is a small issue. There isn't enough oil in it so you need to add it. On the other hand, you need fresh oil, so some will complain about the oil getting stale when not in use. In general, that's good. I believe you will find that using your own oil not only saves on the product itself but also saves money and allows you to use better oils. The sight of fresh butter on the counter is also welcome.
